Blog Thoughts: Inner Work

Life throws so many different challenges directly into our path at any given moment. A day does not go by where one has to step back, take a deep breath, and jump in or release and let go. But the one thing I do know after walking this far on the way is that I can do nothing for others until I have done the inner work within myself. Every talk, every retreat, every book I always will say that I practice what I preach; it is journey, never a destination. There is always going to be work, moments of forgiveness in ourselves and others, pain we unintentionally inflicted and pain we received, broken dreams and hearts that are simply a part of the path and then our little bit of light comes once we take a long look in the mirror and truly see the inner parts of ourselves that have been waiting for us to come back to our inner core; to come back home within. What in your life is asking of you to look in your mirror and come home to yourself before facing a new path in the world?
