We hear about mindfulness daily. We read about mindfulness daily. We talk with others about mindfulness daily. You can’t get through a day without someone telling you that mindfulness is the new answer to all things.
How often do we sincerely practice the art of mindfulness? When our day is nothing but stress between work, family or every day relationships; are we taking a moment to pause, breathe and reflect on that which is mindful? Or, are we just consumed with our stress that nothing else can alleviate this state of mind for us?
Today, stop wherever you are reading this...pause. Notice the air around you. Take a deep breath in holding it for 30 seconds. As you release become aware of what the breath brought to your senses. Can you identify it? How can it add to your day? What will you take away to use for the better in your day?
