How do you define balance?
Life takes us in so many different directions in a day that we often fail to pause, listen and take care of ourselves. Life becomes about taking care of others, focusing on deadlines and checking off items from a never ending to-do list. If we give our whole selves to everyone and everything else, what will be left? Balance is a key to finding peace. So, I ask again, how do you find balance? Balance can be saying no more often when others ask for help. We want to show kindness and compassion to those we care about in our life. But, if we say yes to everyone and everything, is there anything left when you need to care for yourself? Sometimes we need to say no with love. Does all the work need to get done today? Take a look at your deadlines and to-do list. Ask the realistic questions of what needs to get done in this moment and what can wait a couple of days. When we embrace this balance in our lives, we are able to experience the balance in our wellness.
