"I just returned from the “Awakening Beauty, Embracing Body and Wisdom” retreat. It. Was. Amazing. I struggle with anxiety, and the ability to BE STILL. This weekend taught me to do just that. I met some incredible woman, whom I probably would have never had the chance to meet otherwise. And I learned SO much about myself. My mind, body, and soul needed this much more than I knew. I plan to attend as many of these retreats as I can, and I urge anyone and everyone to do the same if you get the chance. Take a chance, put your anxieties aside, do something for YOU. I promise, you won’t regret it! "

Andrea Kanelopoulos

Author Andrea Kanelopoulos has created her entire work around the decades of healing which you can read about in her first book, 'Find Your Voice Project: A Journey Towards Healing.'  The most common feedback over the last 5 years since its first publication is that this book is meant for all journeys, a story within a workbook to living fully.

She went on to write, 'Tuning in, Turning off and Finding Presence to continue the conversations through essays of owning our health and spiritual journeys whatever they may look like encouraging pause, mindfulness, and reflection on a daily path.

Have you ever wondered why we are so comfortable sitting with all the things we don’t like about ourselves?

Do you embrace a negative voice instead of trusting your inner self worth and your inner body wisdom?

This uniquely designed retreat weekend is going to take you down the road of personal exploration on your intimate journey to ask the challenging questions. You will hear from this written journey as well engage in many different modules over the weekend to learn to embrace your voice and body wisdom that has always been within you.

Our body is called to its own journey.

You will walk away with the practices I have written about to where to I stand today in healing, confidence, strength, and passion embracing my body story. By the end, rest assured your voice will be engaged!

How do you want to use your voice to empower the steps you walk today on your journey?

What to expect:

Gathering Circles & Ceremony:
We come together in an intimate circle to meet each other where we are creating a safe place as we take on this journey of reflection. There will be spontaneous moments of release and letting go, setting intentions and finding your path.

Meditation & Mindfulness:
Over the course of the weekend, we have simple and non-intrusive moments of meditation and mindfulness to find our calm and balance. These are tools you can take into your daily life when you re-enter your routines. These are approachable practices from the beginner to those who have mastered this art.

Yoga Practice:
Each morning we will begin the day with a gentle yoga session to connect with our bodies. Our amazing instructor will meet people where they are no matter their mobility, whether new or practiced to this art form to begin to open you up to the process.

Journal & Reflection:
There is a perfect balance of rest, relax and renew on our retreat weekends. You will be able to realize new paths you may want to explore as you start fresh, and you will be given plenty of time for your own personal introspection.

Art:
I love adding this creative outlet. You do not need to be artistic or creative to take on this activity, but you will be surprised how you will want to continue the practice when you leave.

Quiet & Rest:
Finding rest is important and key. You can do that on the river in these beautiful, secluded mountains. Go for a walk on the trail behind the house, or just sit on the deck and listen to nature.

Whole Food Mindful Meals:
I have always taken great care and focus on creating whole food fresh meals. You are being catered to this weekend and cared for no doubt! It all lies in my hands for you to savor and nurture.
