In our three decade history, we continue to strive to be a voice in every way through Find Your Voice Project's original vision! As times and personal journeys have changed, our focus currently lies on retreats, speaking engagements and helping individuals where they are in their recovery.
My story will never be silenced.

Our Vision
In our history we have strived to be a voice in every way through the Find Your Voice Project! As times change and personal journeys, today we focus on retreats, speaking engagements and helping individuals where they are at. We do our very best to never turn down a request for services.
Activism: We have worked with the Eating Disorder Coalition to help create up-to-date laws for proper nutrition and exercise education programs in our early education, as well as health care initiatives for those struggling. We fought or proper health care nationwide for all disordered body image patients and stress the importance of recognizing the dangers of this disease before we see any more deaths. We are a VOICE to bring awareness in a way that OUR MESSAGE WILL BE HEARD.
Speaking Engagements: An Internationally known speaker; Andrea offers her story in a way that audiences of all ages can relate. She powerfully opens even the toughest of classrooms and forums through personal and engaging, honest and intimate, informative, and inspiring speaking engagements. Andrea can bring a clear awareness and understanding to this illness, offering hope for a different tomorrow by witnessing her own recovery. Her story fits nicely into ANY forum.
Awareness Events: We will strive to promote the ongoing importance of recognizing Body Image Awareness, Acceptance and Education by bringing educational and lively events to colleges, high schools, and elementary schools as well to the bring them to the public. In the past we extended this awareness throughout with events such as Love Your Body Day, International NO DIET Day, International Women's Day, and National Eating Disorder Awareness Week to name just a few.
Candlelight Awareness Vigils: We always remember the countless lives lost daily to body hatred. We hope to keep their spirits alive, while bringing comfort, healing and hope to all those who struggle or walk with a loved one who is struggling.

Dear Andrea, One year ago I sat in the pew in the back of a church and watched as you read others names of those who lost their battle with eating disorders. I clenched my bony fingers around the candle burning for their remembrance, and I began to cry. I knew that if I didn't change something soon, you'd soon be reading my name. So, here I am almost 365 days later, fighting anorexia with every ounce of my being. Like you, I begin every day choosing life. And, like you, some days are better than others. Knowing that I can win this battle gives me the strength to continue to fight, and encourages me to help others understand the ugliness and severity of eating disorders. I always think of you during this week (NEDAW) You know you have changed my life that day and I will never forget you for it. ~Heather L. 2006
