It is my ministry to share the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes the way it is meant to be prayed for the first time. The entire journey and pilgrimage is a prayer. The Grotto and story of St Bernadette are very special entities. It has personally transformed my life and led me to my own personal miracles in my health and life. It is in gratitude for blessings received that I want to share this with others, as well as share the intimacy of the Sanctuary that I feel can be experienced beyond the largeness of it today.
Today, this small village town is bombarded at times with thousands of tourists, vendors and paraphernalia that is not what Bernadette or Our Lady would first want for their pilgrims. But it is possible to experience the Sanctuary beyond all this. I take you in a way that resembles the very respect they had for each other, the prayer the Grotto truly is and Our Lady wishes it to be, when all who come to visit her have the opportunity.
Time permitting and availability, we stay in a convent or monastery setting the theme and surroundings for prayer, peace, reflection, quiet as well as healing. I will take you through the Sanctuary as Bernadette experienced it and Our Lady asked of her. While there are many buildings these days and many prayer services offered, Bernadette herself was only present at the ones I will take you to. You will have the opportunity to take in as much or as little as you like and if you wish to go beyond to other sites of Bernadette’s childhood, upbringing, churches etc, I can tailor your requests. I believe you can fulfill your experience from as little as five days, but the choice will be yours for all these services. The reasoning in choosing me as your guide is to get the full prayer and experience. I believe Our Lady has asked of her pilgrims and which she freely gave me in my healing journey. Often, it can be quite overwhelming to take all of this in on one’s own. We will begin our focus at Bernadette’s home, Le Cachot, and proceed to the Sanctuary to focus on Our Lady’s major request of her pilgrims:
