Responsibility in Faith is something I have reflected on for years as I watch life tell a story before me from wars to famine and poverty. Personally, I like to hold myself accountable for living out my faith on a daily basis recognizing the difficult task that can be.
When I see someone hungry begging for food on the street do I walk by without a thought? Or do I offer food or money if I have it? If can’t spare anything material, do I think to offer a simple prayer or positive thought for their journey?
Every question I ask, step I take, road I walk I would l like to think I ask the question, ‘Does this mirror my faith?’
Can you say the same?
I think it is very easy to get caught up in the hurriedness of life and forget where we begin first and foremost at our core beliefs and center.
I truly believe if we walk through this life remembering the gifts we have on a daily basis, we can be readily available to offer kindness, generosity, and love to those in need.
Are you walking through life looking out for only yourself?
Are you taking time to give back to those around you?
When someone asks for your help, are you too busy?
Do you mirror your beliefs?
It’s not easy. We all falter at this task some of the time.
It is a good reminder to consider…
