![]() Today, I believe Gratitude is more important than it ever has been in our lifetime. Today, I believe Gratitude is what’s going to keep us moving forward each day passionately aware of our country’s needs and progression. Gratitude will hold us accountable for being present to all those who need our love; to be reminded of day to day actions we can do to heal our country. Today, I am grateful for all those peacefully protesting hate, racism and ignorance. Today, I am grateful for those standing up for the weary souls feeling scared, wounded and alone. Today, I am grateful those showing love to all people without discrimination. Today, I am grateful for those sheltering the homeless and feeding the hungry in our shelters, soup kitchens, churches and on the streets simply giving hope to the weary and broken at every turn. Today, I am grateful for those spiritual leaders of all religions who are reminding the worn and disheartened people of faith that those around us ‘know not what they do’ and to trust in what they know is true for themselves on the journey. Today, I am grateful for those immigrants we are welcoming into our homes, for they add a beauty and humility to our country as teachers of faith which we are in dire need of right now. Today, I am grateful for all those who make our country diverse reminding us daily what Jesus’ true mission has always been. Today I am grateful for my children, my friends, my family by blood and soul connection who remind me that when the darkness crowds in the Light will always come in the love we share for each other. Today, I am grateful. |
