I feel like we hear this term quite often.
Everyone is trying to distract us from the tragedy surrounding our world. But, I am asking, what is the harm instead to look at those tragedies and see the beauty?
My simple, or not so simple, challenge today is to see the beauty in the endless tragedy we are seeing daily.
See the beauty in that which is not always beautiful.
See the beauty in the many political trials in the arena.
See the beauty in the neighbor who isn't always being neighborly.
See the beauty in the ugliness of the world's problems playing out.
When you take time to see something that you would not otherwise take your time on, you will be surprised by the gifts received. You will receive moments of growth, rather than the negativity that is trying to infest our world. You will be a part of the change.
Allow this to fill your day.
